If authentic Neapolitan food is what you're looking for, look no further than Assunta's in Slidell.  Assunta's has been a favorite since 1988 when Assunta Vitagliano Young herself, a native of Naples, Italy, was the chef.  In 1992 she became the owner, and in 2002, she passed the tradition on to her daughter, Ann Sergi.
